The Artworth Festival in Fort Worth was a good start to the tour, set in a new location on the green of The Shops at Clearfork. It was so nice getting time to chat with so many locals and make some new connections with fellow artisians.
I hosted a trunk show in Austin at Good Company, a wonderful boutique that features my jewelry year-round. The intimate setup allowed for personal interactions with some of their best clients, and it was the perfect chance to introduce new pieces, including hand-cut gemstones and unique kintsugi designs.
I wrapped up the tour at The Woodlands Fine Craft Show, north of Houston. This well-curated event showcased an array of crafts from fine art to intricate jewelry, bringing together a community passionate about quality and craftsmanship. It was wonderful to meet so many people interested in one-of-a-kind jewelry, and I enjoyed connecting with other talented artisans from across the country.
During my Texas travels, I visited with a couple friends, I shopped for gemstones, and explored over a dozen jewelry shops and women’s boutiques. I’m thrilled to report that a few of these could be ideal partners for my jewelry.
Overall, while my my 12 day roadtrip in Texas was a bit on the warm side, (42º leaving Seattle and 90º arriving in Fort Worth), I would definitely consider returning and have already applied to a couple 2025 juried shows.
