Kintsugi - broken is beautiful

Recognizing beauty in broken things. Kintsugi is a Japanese tradition of making broken things even better than brand new with use of gold or sometimes silver. The breakage and repair become part of the object's history and even more valuable rather than replacing it with something new.

Kintsugi is also a practice in embracing the imperfect or flawed, acceptance of change, and concepts of non-attachment and can be applied to our everyday lives.
