The Smithsonian holds the largest faceted Aquamarine in the world weighing in at just under 5 pounds, 10,363 cts. 

Aquamarine can be found in Brazil, Africa, Pakistan, Madagascar, Colorado, California, China, Ukraine, Russia, and Myanmar.

In the 1700’s Georgian jewelry era, the name Aquamarine came from the phrase, “water of the sea”.

Wash in warm soapy water. Can use a soft bristled tooth brush to clean.
