Druzy quartz refers to a layer of small quartz crystals that have crystallized on the surface of a quartz based mineral. Druzy is often found in the hollow cavity of agate geodes and has a sugar-like appearance.

Natural druzy colors can range from white to several pastel shades of yellow, purple, blue, to grey.

Druzy is commonly found in Brazil, China, India, and Thailand.

Over the years, druzy natural gemstones have been found in any location where there is a place for water to collect and evaporate on rock. It most often appears along river beds and shorelines.

Clean with mild soap and distilled water. A dry tooth brush can be used.
