Moss agate gets it's name from the inclusions that resemble moss or ferns. Was often used by farmers and gardeners as a stone to promote a healthy harvest. Can be found in Australia, Madagascar, India, and the United States to name a few.
During the 18th century, moss agate was widely regarded as a good luck stone in Britain. Ancient Greeks believed wearing moss agate attracted favor from the gods.
Wash in warm soapy water. Can use a soft bristled tooth brush to clean.
